Professor Ramnarayan Mishra, B.Sc (Engineering), Sambalpur University had a distinguished academic career with M.Tech (Electronics) from I.I.T, Kharagpur. He has specialized in Ecology and Environment from Indian institute of Ecology and Environment, New Delhi.He had worked as a senior scientist at IMMT, Bhubaneswar (earlier RRL).

As Dean, Professor and HOD, Applied Electronics and Instrumentation at DRIEMS, he is playing a major role in giving a new look to the qualitative improvement of engineering education. Thereby the vision of Sri P. C. Rath, Chairman is being transformed into reality. Recently, he successfully organized “VASANTIKA-2008”, the colorful and vibrant spring festival which was a commendable collaborative effort of the staff and students. In the background he had the experience of a professor at Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Gunupur. Prof. Mishra is a suave, communicative and warm-hearted teacher of Instrumentation Engineering.

DEAN (Students Welfare)

Col. Manas Ranjan Mohanty obtained the degree of Bachelor of Science (Engg.) from Sambalpur University in Civil Engineering. He completed a PG Course in Business Management and Industrial Administration from BIMS, New Delhi. He served the Indian Army & Navy and retired as a Colonel.

He has long experience in Administration Catering, Finance and Liaisons work. He is an asset to any Institution. He has joined as Dean , Students Welfare in Degree Engineering College, DRIEMS.

DEAN (CE & I )

Prof.(Dr.) Chakradhar Das is a brilliant Professior in Mathematics and Computer Science. He obtained a 1st Class in
Mathematics and later obtained Ph.D in Operations Research. He made a distictive mark as a specialist in Operartions Research, System Management, Combinational Analysis, Petrinet and Modeling. He was Professor of Mathematics at NIT, Rourkela, ITER, Bhubaneswar. Presently he is Dean, Continuing Education in DRIEMS, Tangi, Cuttack.

DIRECTOR (R & I)

Prof.(Dr.) Sarbeswar Prusty got M.E. In Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, Ph.D(S.U) and DIC(Engg.) London. He had a distinguished career as professor Electrical Engineering and subsequently Principal, U.C.E., Burla for four years. He was also in KIIT, GITAM, GITA and SILICON. He is presently Director, Research & Devlopment, DRIEMS, Tangi, Cuttack. He is an erudite scholar who is excellent in teaching and research. As Director of several Engineering Institutions he has made a distinctive contribution to the academic arena. His versatile command of Research and Devlopment strategies have been widely acllaimed.
