Our Principal Dr. Ramakanta Panigrahi possesses enviable administrative and academic experiences. A first class Honors graduate in Civil Engineering from UCE Burla (1989 – 2nd rank in the University), he had the rare distinction of securing the First rank in M.Tech in Structural Engineering at IIT, Delhi, from where he obtained his Doctorate (Ph.D) in Civil Engineering. He is a life member of ISTE, Member and Chartered Engineer of Institution of Engineers (India). Life Member of IIIE and Member of Operation Research Society of India.

His professional career of 19 years is a blend of Teaching, Research, Consultancy and Administration. He has teaching and research experience in CET, a premier Govt. Engineering College of Orissa at both UG and PG levels. He also held many key administrative posts in the Departments of Irrigation, and Industries in the Govt. of Orissa and has carried out many consultancy assignments in the related fields of Civil Engineering.

Dr. Panigrahi has extensive research experience to his credit. Many of his technical research papers have been published in National and International journals of repute. He has presented a large number of papers in many National and International conferences in India and abroad (USA – in 2008). He has guided many research projects in the field of Structural Engineering and allied fields of Civil Engineering. He has received many awards and Honours for his contribution to the field of academics and research.
