As per the requirement of the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela curriculum, the students are expected to undergo 2 months of industrial training in the months of June and July between their 3rd and 4th Trimesters. This gives the students an opportunity to apply their conceptual management knowledge and skills in actual company ambience. The students are required to carry out intensive analysis and synthesis on a particular topic relevant to the company where they are undertaking the project work and submit a written report to the university through the college for evaluation and gradation. Our students have undertaken summer training in companies like, Coca-Cola, Ortel Communications, National Aluminium Company Limited, Karvy, Orissa Hydro Power Corporation, Bajaj Auto, ICICI, Bharti Airtel, Reliance Communications – to name a few. The institute provides placement support to students for undertaking their summer project.
