About Office of the Controller of Examinations
The University Examination Committee is responsible for devising the examination regulations, which are then approved by the University's Academic Council. These regulations, as well as the duties and responsibilities of examination officers, are outlined in the Examination Guidelines. These guidelines are distributed to each school within the university to inform both students and faculty members. The Office of the Controller of Examinations rigorously oversees examination-related procedures, with the assistance of Deputy or Assistant Controllers of Examinations assigned to each university school.

Dr. Dayananda Sarangi

Dr. Dayananda Sarangi holds the prestigious position of Controller of Examinations at DRIEMS University, Odisha. He earned his M.Sc from Berhampur University in 1998 and was awarded his Ph.D. from KIIT University in 2020. Dr. Sarangi boasts over two decades of teaching experience, during which he has developed expertise in Chemistry and Environmental Science. His research is primarily focused on Thermoacoustic parameters, and he has made notable contributions to the field, evidenced by his publication of more than seven research papers in both national conferences and journals. In his role, he is instrumental in mentoring undergraduate students, guiding them through various projects and underscoring his commitment to academic excellence. As an Associate Professor in the School of Natural Science at DRIEMS University, he actively engages in the academic community. Dr. Sarangi's commitment to professional development is highlighted by his participation in over thirty faculty development programs, seminars, and workshops at the national and international level, reflecting his dedication to continuous learning. Additionally, he is a valued life member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
