Ms. Sangita Mohanty is currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Fashion Designing at DRIEMS University, Odisha. She earned her Bachelor of Design (B.Des) from NIFGlobal, Bhubaneswar, in 2023, where she honed her skills in innovative design and creativity. Before transitioning into academia, she gained valuable experience as a Visual Merchandiser at Reliance Retail, where she applied her keen eye for aesthetics and strategic thinking to enhance product presentation. Her professional journey includes participation in prestigious events such as Lakmé Fashion Week and numerous local fashion shows, where she showcased her talent as a designer.In addition to her design expertise, she possesses strong academic handling and problem-solving skills. She is proficient in subjects such as Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Illustrations, Merchandising, and Design Thinking, enabling her to effectively guide students through complex design challenges. Her commitment to fostering creativity and critical thinking in her students makes her a valuable asset to the academic community.
