Dr. Debajani Palai currently serves as an Assistant Professor specializing in Human Resource Management (HRM) and Organisational Behaviour (OB) at the School of Management, DRIEMS University, Cuttack, Odisha. She earned her Ph.D. from KIIT University in 2019 and holds an MBA from ICFAI University, Dehradun, along with a Master’s degree in Economics. With over 17 years of academic and research experience, Dr. Palai has made substantial contributions to the fields of management education and economics. Her teaching career spans several prestigious institutions, including BJB Autonomous College, Ravenshaw University, ISBM College, KIIT University, IMIT, IPSAR, and DRIEMS. Dr. Palai has expertise in a wide range of subjects such as Organisational Behaviour, Management Principles and OB, Principles and Practices of Management, Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, Compensation and Reward Management, Performance Management Systems, Strategic Management, and Managerial Economics. She has published approximately 25 research articles in reputed indexed databases including SCOPUS, Web of Science, EBSCO, UGC Care, and Google Scholar. In addition, she has contributed to various book chapters and actively presented her research at numerous national and international conferences, seminars, and webinars.
