Dr. Manoranjan Mohapatra is an experienced academician in agricultural extension and communication. His expertise includes disaster management, gender studies, and tribal livelihood development. He has contributed to national-level projects and field-based extension strategies. He is committed to student mentoring and research in rural development. Dr. Manoranjan Mohapatra has served as the Joint Director of Extension at OUAT, where he contributed extensively to strengthening outreach and technology dissemination. He has also worked as Co-Project Director (Co-PD) of the FFSI project, engaging directly with farmers, rural youth, and community groups across Odisha. His responsibilities span training, capacity building, and developing field-level extension strategies. In addition, he has undergone specialized trainings in communication techniques, extension methodologies, and participatory rural development approaches.
