Dr. Soubhagyalaxmi Mohapatra, Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in School of Allied and Healthcare Sciences at DRIEMS University, Tangi, Cuttack, Odisha. Dr. Mohapatra is an Occupational Therapist specializing in Developmental Disabilities. She holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and possesses extensive experience of 4.5 years across both clinical and academic settings. Dr. Mohapatra has demonstrated excellence as an educator, researcher, and clinician, with a strong foundation in evidence-based occupational therapy practice. Her professional expertise encompasses paediatric, neurological, and rehabilitation domains, focusing on promoting functional independence, participation, and overall quality of life. She has contributed to the advancement of occupational therapy education through curriculum development, clinical training, and academic mentorship. Her areas of interest within the field of Occupational Therapy include developmental disabilities, sensory integration, paediatric rehabilitation, geriatric rehabilitation, adult rehabilitation and innovations in therapeutic and assistive technologies.
