Dr. Bichitrananda Tripathy completed his B-Pharm from IPT, Salepur , M. Pharm in Pharmacognosy with distinction from University department of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UDPS),Utkal university,Bhubaneswar and his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Centurion University under the supervision of Prof. N. k.Sahoo and Prof. S.k.sahoo . Prof. Tripathy previously worked as, a professor and Head of pharmcognosy at SIPER, Cuttack, Associate professor at Royal college of pharmacy and Health Science,Berhampur Odisha, Principal at Sivananda college of pharmacy Berhampur Odisha, and Lecture and Sr.Lecture at IPSTP,Bahugram,Cuttack, PIT,Gangapada, Khorda, Bhubaneswar and OCPHS,Dhenkanal .He currently serves as a professor and head of pharmacognosy at the School of Pharmacy, DRIEMS University, Cuttack. Dr Tripathy's research interests include the Separation and purification of pharmaceuticals and natural products by chromatographic techniques. Evaluation and assay of drug substances by HPLC and HPTLC. Evaluation of safety, efficacy and toxicity of pharmaceuticals in animal models. Determination of permeability and distribution of drug substances Pre-formulation studies of drug substances Including compatibility studies and Interpretation. Prof.Tripathy. has authored over 15 international papers, 35 conferences, and 02 book chapters. He has guided 10 M. Pharm., and 39 B. Pharm student .He was recognised as an Best Teacher and Administrator in by SCP, Berhampur,Odisha Prof. Bichitrananda Tripathy is a life member of Association of pharmaceutical Teachers in india and Ex- Member of Odish state board of pharmacy, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
