The newly admitted students were inducted through the Deeskharambh, a comprehensive two- week long orientation programme, which started with the plantation of an apple sapling in the premises of SoA by Honb’le Chairman Dr.Pramod Chandra Rath. The formal welcome ceremony was organized in the Padmini Auditorium with dignitaries from ICAR institutes, NABARD and the University. Among the dignitaries were Dr. G.A.K. KUMAR, Director, ICAR-CRRI, Cuttack as Chief guest, Dr. Arjamadutta Sarangi, Director, ICAR-IIWM and Shri Devesh Behera, AGM NABARD, Bhubaneswar as guest of honours. Sj Balaram Kar, Director (Admin) also attended the occasion as guest of honour. The meeting was presided over by Prof. Dr. Prakash Ku. Hota, Vice– Chancellor of the University.
