Dr. Jnyanaranjan Panda, M. Pharm., PhD., is working as a Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the School of Pharmacy, DRIEMS University, Tangi, Cuttack. Dr. Panda has 21 years of teaching experience and 17 years of research experience. Before his current role, he was working as a professor at Roland Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Khodasingi, Berhampur, Odisha. Dr. Panda graduated with a B.Pharm in 2004 from College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Mohuda, Berhampur and M Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 2006 from Kanak Manjari Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Rourkela. Dr. Panda has completed his Ph.D. in Pharmacy from Berhampur University in 2012. Dr. Panda has guided over 60 B.Pharm projects, 25 M.Pharm students. He has 55 publications to his credit, including 40 international papers, 15 national papers, 7 book chapters, and 30 conference abstracts at national and international levels. He is a life member of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI). Dr. Panda's research focuses on (i) the design, synthesis and evaluation of bioactive compounds, (ii) extraction and screening of natural bioactive substances, (iii) development and validation of analytical profiles for drugs.
