Mr. Biswajit Payra is working as an Assistant Professor of English at the Department of English, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, DRIEMS University. After completing his BA in English with First Class from Vidyasagar University, Medinipur with the specialization in Phonetics along with American Literature, he has completed his MA in English (Modern and Postmodern American Literature) with Gold-medal from Ravenshaw University, Cuttack. He has worked in various colleges teaching students of both Undergraduate and Postgraduate. He has qualified both UGC-NET and WB-SET in English. His areas of interest are Literary Theory and Criticism; especially Feminism, Gender Studies, Psychoanalytic Criticism, Postmodern Poetry and Drama and English Grammar and Language.
