Mr. Biswaranjan Pradhan is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the School of Engineering and Technology, DRIEMS University, Tangi, Odisha. He completed his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering from VIVTECH in 2018, and obtained his Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Transportation Engineering from IGIT, Sarang in 2022. He has over 3 years of teaching experience in the field of civil engineering. His core teaching interests include Transportation Engineering, pavement material construction, and mechanical characterization of binder, Structural Analysis, and Railway Engineering. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from BPUT, Odisha, with research focused on sustainable pavement materials, particularly the utilization of Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) with innovative additives such as waste oils, copper slag, and synthetic fibers. He has been actively involved in guiding undergraduate and postgraduate students in academic and research projects. In addition to teaching and research, he contributes to various academic and administrative responsibilities. He has also actively participated in academic enrichment activities and attended the BPUT Multi International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering and Technology (BMICETET–2026), along with several Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), seminars, and workshops at national levels.
