Prof. (Dr.) Nayan Ranjan Samal
PROFESSOR
Prof. (Dr.) Nayan Ranjan Samal is currently working as Dean, School of Engineering and Technology as well as Professor in Electrical Engineering Department, DRIEMS University, Odisha. He has completed his B.E. in Electrical Engineering under Utkal University, M.E. in VSSUT, Burla, Sambalpur University and Ph.D at Jadavpur University in the year 1997, 2001 and 2011 respectively. Dr. Samal has started the concept of research in the department of Electrical Engineering as well as in the institute as a whole. He has successfully guided 21 M.E. / M.Tech. students and more than 100 B.Tech students for their research and projects. Currently, he is supervising 4 nos of Ph.D scholars. He has 13 International and National publications in journals in conferences of repute. He has delivered guest lectures, keynote speeches in many national and international conferences. Two patents have been filed by him and his team so far. Prof. Samal has been awarded by many awards and fellowships during his career.
