Dr. Alok Ranjan Biswal has completed Ph.D in Machine Design (Mechanical Engineering) from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela (NITR). He has more than fifteen years of Teaching and Research experience in the field of Mechanical Vibration based Energy Harvesting, Nonlinearity in vibration, Functionally Graded Materials, Optimization, Smart Structure, Fracture Mechanics and so on. He has many National and International publications in Journals with high Impact Factors which have been indexed in Science Citations (SCI), Scopus, Web of Science etc. and Conferences organized by NITs and IITs. Based on his Research activities he has been nominated as Editorial member in International Journal of Mechanical Engineering and Applications (IJMEA) and Reviewer of many International Journal publications such as Journal of Vibration and control (JVC)-SCI, International Journal of Creative Research Thoughts (IJCRT), Proc. IMechE Part-C: Journal of Mechnaical Engineering Science (SAGE Publication)-SCI and many more. As an Academician he has been in constant support to the quality Education and promote for betterment of Education system through conducting many Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), Seminars, Workshops and Industry Expert Talks organised and sponsored by DRIEMS, BPUT, VTU, AKU etc. During his tenure of teaching he has been Awarded Best Teacher Award three times due to the quality of teaching. Based on the Academic innovation, integrity & ethics, process management and service quality he has been awarded with Quality Education Leadership Award by Golden AIM Awards for Excellence and Leadership in Education in 2020.
