On October 3,2024, students from the fashion department at DRIEMS University, Tangi, organized a vibrant garba festival to celebrateNavaratri, inviting faculty and students from various department. The event showcased performances of nine avatars of Maa Durga, accompanied by traditional Garba dancing. Attendees enjoyed a variety of delicious food while engaging in discussions about the festival’s significance. This celebration fostered cultural appreciation and community bonding, highlighting the rich traditions of Navaratri through dance, devotion, and shared experiences among participant. On December, 02,2024, The school of fashion design students at DRIEMS University, attended a seminar conducted by Lakmé Academy, focusing on daily grooming standards and beauty professionalism. The session emphasized the importance of personal grooming in the fashion industry and provided insights into future career opportunities. Students learned about maintaining beauty standards and enhancing their professional image. On December 24,2024, students from the fashion department at DRIEMS University celebrated Christmas at Padmini Care Hospital, spreading joy and kindness among the patients and hospital staffs. One of the students donned a Santa costume, distributing chocolates to children. Senior authorities from the hospital and the College joined the festivities, enhancing the spirit of the occasion. The celebration included cake- cutting, with slices shared among patient, their families, the hospital staff. The Padmini Care hospital staff members played a big role in arranging this festival with the hospital. This heartwarming event showcased the student’s commitment to community services and highlighted the importance of compassion during the holiday season, creating cherished memories for all involved.
