Students of the School of Management visited ITC Limited, Khordha on 08 November 2025 to gain practical exposure to manufacturing operations and quality management practices. The visit aimed to help students relate classroom concepts to real industry functioning, understand quality systems, observe HR practices, and learn about workplace discipline and safety standards.

Officials including Mr. Pratyush Nayak (Unit Head), Ms. Priyanka Behuria (HR Head), and Mr. Reshaw Kumar (Quality Head) provided detailed insights during the plant tour, explaining production processes, quality checks, and organizational procedures.

The study tour resulted in valuable learning outcomes such as improved understanding of manufacturing and quality operations, clearer awareness of corporate expectations, and increased motivation among students to build professional competence. Overall, the visit strengthened the industry–academia connection and enriched students’ practical knowledge.
