Dr. Sakti Prasad Mishra has completed his Bachelor of Science degree in 2012 with Physics honours in first class honours with distinction from Samanta Chandra Sekhara (Autonomous) College, Puri (affiliated to Utkal University, Bhubaneswar). He has completed his Master of Science degree in 2014 from Fakir Mohan University, Balasore in first division with ballistics specialisation. In the year of 2015 he has received the degree of Master of Philosophy in Physics from Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla, Sambalpur. His Doctor of Philosophy in Physics was completed from Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla, Sambalpur in 2021 on the topic “Study on synthesis and characterisation of acoustic and microwave absorbing materials”. He has participated in more than 15 international and national conferences, 6 workshops, 5 webinars and 4 faculty development programmes. He has delivered 6 oral and 7 poster presentations in various national and international seminars and conferences. He was member of local organising committee and technical supporter of 4 national conferences. He is the life member of Ultrasonic Society of India and Institute of Scholars. He has received two best poster presentation award and one best paper award in national and international conferences. His research work has been published in 5 reputed journals, 8 conference proceedings and 2 book chapters. He is the reviewer of two journals named International Journal of Basic and Applied Sciences and Asian Journal of Chemical Sciences. His research interests are synthesis of composite materials from agricultural wastes, acoustic materials and microwave absorbing materials. He has 5 years of teaching experiences and his favourite teaching subjects includes Classical mechanics, Mathematical physics, Material science, Optics, Solid state physics, Electrodynamics, Astronomy & astro physics, Nuclear physics, Physics of semiconductor devices and Engineering physics. Currently he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, School of Natural Sciences, DRIEMS University, Cuttack, Odisha.
