She is currently working as the Dean of the School of Nursing at DRIEMS University, Odisha. She has completed her B.Sc(N) and M.Sc(N) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science in 2005 and 2010, respectively. She has 17 years of teaching experience. Her primary area of research is sexual and reproductive health among adolescents. She has published and presented research papers in various national and international conferences and journals. And she has also authored one patent.She has guided numerous undergraduate and postgraduate students through various projects. She has authored a book chapter in an Elsevier Book. She organized and participated in various national and international levels, including faculty development programs, conferences,and workshops. She is also a lifetime member of SOMI ( Society of Midwives India).
