ABOUT

The School of Pharmacy (SOP) at DRIEMS University is a premier institution dedicated to excellence in pharmaceutical education, research, and professional training. Approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and the Government of Odisha, the school commenced its first batch in the academic year 2023-24. As a Self-Examining Authority, SOP upholds the highest academic and evaluation standards, ensuring a transparent and rigorous assessment process.

The school offers Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), and Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) programs. These courses are designed for students interested in drug design and delivery, pharmacology, pharmaceutics, and interdisciplinary research collaborations, preparing them for careers in the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare sector, clinical research, and regulatory affairs.

SOP provides a cutting-edge learning environment with smart classrooms and industry-standard laboratories equipped with sophisticated instruments.     Pharmacy Knowledge: Possess knowledge and comprehension of the core and basic knowledge associated with the profession of pharmacy, including biomedical sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, behavioural, social, and administrative pharmacy sciences, and manufacturing practices

    Planning Abilities: Demonstrate effective planning abilities including time management, resource management, delegation skills and organizational skills. Develop and implement plans and organize work to meet deadlines.

    DRMU Pharmacy Graduates will be competent professional pharmacists who utilize and practice professional principles of pharmacy in self-practice, hospitals, government and non-government organizations, academics, research institutions, and the corporate sector.
