The Department of Civil Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology, DRIEMS University, in association with M/S Shree Consultancy, inaugurated a six-day workshop on Modern Geodetic Surveying Techniques on 12 January 2026. The workshop, scheduled from 12 to 17 January 2026, is being conducted for B.Tech Civil Engineering students.
The programme marks the beginning of an intensive academic and practical learning experience focused on advanced surveying instruments and contemporary geodetic methods used in modern civil engineering. Through expert lectures, interactive discussions, and hands-on demonstrations, students are gaining valuable exposure to industry-relevant surveying technologies.
The workshop aims to strengthen the connection between theoretical knowledge and real-world applications, equipping students with practical skills essential for infrastructure development, mapping, and engineering projects. This initiative reflects the department’s strong commitment to experiential learning, industry collaboration, and skill-oriented education, nurturing future-ready civil engineers.
