Students' Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC)

Scope

              Grievance Redressal cell is being established to find solutions to problems like any kind of harassment, complaints regarding classroom cleaning and classroom maintenance, Completion of syllabus, maintenance of common rooms and toilets.

It is good when students express their grievance rather than keeping it among themselves. It is essential for their all-round development of personality and to realize the primary needs of students.

The Grievances may broadly include the following complaints of the grieving students

● Academic-
 ◈ Grievance related to timely issue of Mark-sheets, Transcripts, Provisional Certificates, Course Completion Certificates or any other examination related matters.

● Non-Academic

 ◈ Grievance related to Victimization
 ◈ Grievance related to Fees
 ◈ Harassment by colleague, students or the teachers etc.

Other Matters:
 ◈ Related to certain misgivings about conditions of sanitation. When the grievance is received by the committee further steps are taken to redress the grievance.

Responsibilities

  ● The University expects that grievance redressal be time bound and result oriented. 
  ● Each & Every Grievance is expected to be resolved within a short period.
  ●
Committee members should punctually attend the grievances.
  ●
Maintain the record of the grievances redressed/reported.
  ●
To attend the general grievances and suggest redressal within the frame work of University.

Procedure

  ● The committee member should ensure the routine check-up of the complaint box within 15 days which installed on-premises. (3rd floor, Admin. Building)
  ● If any grievance is received it should be reported & submitted to the Chairperson of the committee.
  ●
In case of any complaint, the meeting should be held urgently.
  ●
After discussion with the principal committee will redress the grievance.
  ●
Committee members will review the grievance and action taken report should be made by as per GRC Decision within a week.
