Day – 4 | Youth Exchange Programme | DRIEMS University

Day 4 began with a refreshing Morning Prayer, Yoga & Exercise, followed by Shramdaan (Campus Cleaning) promoting discipline, responsibility, and community service among the youth.
The academic sessions started with Session–I: Role of Youth in Nation Building – Opportunities & Challenges by Prof. Sukanta Mohanty (NSS) highlighting the responsibility of young citizens in shaping a progressive nation.
This was followed by an insightful talk on Empowerment of Youth in the Viksit Bharat Perspective by Prof. Jeetendu Satpathy (DRIEMS) emphasizing leadership, innovation, and youth-driven development for a stronger India.
An Interactive Session encouraged active participation, discussion, and exchange of ideas among students from different states.
Session–II: Youth & Volunteerism under the auspices of MY Bharat was delivered by Prof. Susant Kumar Sethi (NSS, DRIEMS University) focusing on the importance of social service and volunteerism in nation building.
In Session–III, Dr. Durga Prasad Mishra addressed the crucial topic “Mental Health of Today’s Youth”, discussing stress management, emotional wellbeing, and maintaining a balanced life.
The day continued with Sports & Games and a visit to the DRIEMS Orchid/Nursery, encouraging teamwork, recreation, and environmental awareness.
The evening concluded with a vibrant Cultural Programme, celebrating India’s diversity, talent, and unity through music, dance, and cultural performances by participating students.
