DRIEMS University has taken a major step toward advancing research, innovation, and academic collaboration by signing a Research Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Odisha University of Technology and Research. This landmark partnership reflects a shared commitment to academic excellence, cutting-edge research, and industry-oriented learning.
The collaboration aims to create meaningful opportunities for students, researchers, and faculty members through joint initiatives in emerging engineering and technology domains. Key focus areas of the MoU include collaborative research projects, faculty and student exchange programs, internship opportunities, joint conferences, workshops, faculty development programs, curriculum enhancement, establishment of Centers of Excellence, technology transfer, and joint supervision of postgraduate and doctoral scholars.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by distinguished academic leaders from both institutions. Representing DRIEMS University were Prof. (Dr.) Prakash Kumar Hota, Krushna Prasad Pati, Prof. (Dr.) Biswaranjan Mohanty, and Dr. Chandan Kumar Sethi. Representing OUTR were Prof. (Dr.) Bibhuti Bhusan Biswal, Prof. Meera Viswavandya, Prof. Sudhansu Sekhar Sahoo, and Prof. Pramod Kumar Parida.
A notable highlight of this collaboration is the appointment of Dr. Chandan Kumar Sethi as the Coordinator from DRIEMS University, who will lead and facilitate the implementation of initiatives under this partnership.
