A vibrant celebration of innovation, creativity, problem-solving, and technological excellence unfolded at DRIEMS University with the successful culmination of the SMART DRIEMS HACKATHON 2026.

The Grand Finale brought together enthusiastic student teams who showcased their technical capabilities, innovative ideas, working prototypes, and problem-solving skills. The participating teams demonstrated their ability to identify real-world challenges and develop meaningful, technology-driven solutions.

The final evaluation provided the young innovators with an exciting platform to present their ideas and prototypes before an expert judging panel, while demonstrating their creativity, technical knowledge, teamwork, and entrepreneurial mindset.

Inspiring the Young Innovators

The occasion was graced by the presence of Dr. Pramod Chandra Rath, Chairman, DRIEMS University, whose presence encouraged and inspired the participating students to continue exploring new ideas and pursuing innovation with confidence and determination.

The valedictory session was enriched by the presence of an esteemed panel of expert judges who evaluated the projects and provided valuable feedback to the participating teams:

The expert panel assessed the innovative solutions while sharing valuable observations and constructive feedback, giving students an opportunity to understand how their ideas could be further refined and developed for real-world applications.

Collaborative Efforts Behind the Success

The successful conduct of the Grand Finale was supported by dedicated coordination from Event Coordinators Dr. Gourab Kumar Panda and Mr. Pabitra Nayak, DRIEMS University, whose efforts contributed to the smooth execution of the programme.

The event reflected the collaborative spirit of the DRIEMS community, bringing together students, faculty members, innovation leaders, and external experts on a common platform dedicated to problem-solving and technological innovation.

The Grand Finale concluded with expert feedback, announcement of winners, trophy and certificate distribution, and felicitation of the distinguished judges, marking a memorable milestone in DRIEMS University’s continued efforts to nurture innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving among young minds.
