DRIEMS University, Cuttack, celebrated NSS Day 2026 on 24th September 2026 at the Jayashree Auditorium, DRIEMS University, with enthusiasm and a strong spirit of social service, responsible citizenship and youth empowerment.
The celebration reflected the core philosophy of the National Service Scheme (NSS) – “Not Me But You”, highlighting the importance of selfless service, community engagement and the active participation of young people in nation building.
A key highlight of the programme was the presentation of the NSS Annual Report 2025–26, showcasing the various initiatives and activities undertaken by NSS volunteers during the academic year. The programme also featured insightful addresses by distinguished dignitaries, along with the felicitation of the Chief Guest and Chief Speaker.
As part of the celebration, a complete set of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam was meaningfully contributed to the Central Library, adding a valuable collection to the university’s academic and cultural resources.

The programme was anchored by Mr. Pabitra Nayak, Assistant Professor & Event Coordinator, who guided the proceedings and ensured a smooth flow of the programme.
The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr. Gourab Kumar Panda, Assistant Professor & Event Coordinator, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty members, NSS volunteers and everyone who contributed to the successful organisation of the celebration.
