A New Chapter Begins: “Navarambh-2026” at DRIEMS University

DRIEMS University hosted “Navarambh-2026”, the Student Induction Programme, at the Padmini Auditorium, marking the beginning of a new and exciting academic journey for the fresh batch of students. The programme provided a warm and inspiring welcome to the newcomers while setting the tone for a meaningful university experience focused on academic excellence, discipline, personal growth, and holistic development.

The programme commenced with a vibrant welcome dance presented by students, followed by the auspicious lamp-lighting ceremony and a heartfelt floral tribute to the late Dhaneswar Rath.

Welcome Address

Prof. (Dr.) Prathima Prakasam, Dean, School of Nursing (SON), DRIEMS University, delivered the welcome address and extended a warm reception to the newly admitted students. She encouraged the freshers to embrace the opportunities offered by university life and actively participate in academic and co-curricular activities.
