The School of Nursing, DRIEMS University, Cuttack, Odisha successfully organized an International Conference on the theme “The Evolving Landscape of Research Design, Ethics, Data and Digitalization” on 21st & 22nd January 2026.
The inaugural session on 21st January was graced by Mrs. Laxmipriya Mishra, Registrar, ONMRC, Bhubaneswar as the Chief Guest, and Dr. Asha P. Shetty, Principal, AIIMS College of Nursing as the Guest of Honour. The event was further dignified by the presence of Dr. Pramod Chandra Rath, Hon’ble Chairman; Dr. Prakash Kumar Hota, Vice Chancellor, DRIEMS University; Sj. Balaram Kar, Director Admin; Mrs. Chinmayee Rath, Director Coordination; Mr. Krushna Prasad Pati, Registrar; Dr. Prathima Prakasam, Dean; Prof. N. Premlata Devi, Associate Dean; and Mr. Nirakar Sahu, PRO, DRIEMS University.
The conference witnessed an overwhelming participation of around 850 delegates from international locations including Oman and Saudi Arabia (Riyadh and Muscat), along with participants from 20 states across India. More than 100 abstract papers were presented, with eminent national and international resource persons sharing their expertise.
The two-day conference concluded successfully, enriching participants with in-depth knowledge on contemporary research practices, and was accredited with 2 credit points and 10 CNE hours by INC and ONMRC.
