The School of Nursing, DRIEMS University, successfully organised an Awareness Programme on Cyber Security on 1st October 2026 to promote digital safety and responsible online behaviour among students.
The programme featured Ms. Minakshi Thakur, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Cuttack, Odisha, as the Chief Speaker. She shared valuable insights and practical guidance on identifying cyber threats, preventing online fraud, safeguarding personal information, and adopting safe digital practices.
The initiative aimed to enhance students’ awareness of cybercrime and encourage them to use digital platforms responsibly. The programme highlighted the importance of staying vigilant in the digital world and taking necessary precautions to protect oneself from online risks.
Organised by the School of Nursing, DRIEMS University, the programme marked a meaningful step towards building a cyber-aware, responsible, and digitally secure community.
