Patriotism is an intrinsic bond that individuals develop with their nation, characterized by a sense of pride in its history, culture, values, and achievements. Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti, also known as Netaji Jayanti, is celebrated annually on January 23rd to commemorate the birth anniversary of one of India’s most prominent and revered nationalist leaders, Subhas Chandra Bose. This day holds significant importance in Indian history as it honors the legacy and contributions of a fearless freedom fighter who played a pivotal role in India’s struggle for independence from British colonial rule. On this auspicious occasion DRIEMS celebrate the Birth Anniversary of Netaji by offering flowers to the statue of him. The program is chaired by Director Admin of DRIEMS University Sj Balaram Kar. Professor and eminent personalities from various departments encouraged the students by remembering the fearless act of him. The freedom fighter from Tangi also joined this occasion as Guest of honor.
